Our Mission is...
To bring people to Christ, grow as disciples and together serve God.
Our Vision is to be a caring community where the message of salvation through Jesus Christ is shared through worship, fellowship, witness and service. As seekers and believers we witness our faith journey by example and teaching. We seek a stronger personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Savior, leading us to serve one another by showing love and compassion. As a faith community, followers are encouraged to use their God-given gifts to become the hands and feet of Jesus to do His work. We are called to serve Him in new and exciting ways from our doorsteps to the ends of the earth.
The First Christian Church welcomes you to it's web site. Please look around and come visit us on Sunday. Traditional Worship begins at 9:30 a.m. and a Praise Service begins at 11:30. Sunday School for all ages is at 10:45.
COME and WORSHIP
First Christian Church provides two unique services of worship which meets the needs of all of God's People.
The traditional or blended service is held in the sanctuary. Traditional music, some praise choruses, our church choir and communion are complimented by a Bibilically based sermon each Sunday. The service begins at 9:30am.
At 11:30, the praise service begins in the fellowship hall. A less formal time of worship, this service includes several praise hymns, testimonies, prayer, communion and a reflection time. All ages are welcomed to this, as well as the traditional service.
